May we take you on a journey through Scotland this month? With the latest Creators Collection \u201cThe Spirit of Five \u2013 an exploration of Scotland\u2019s whisky regions\u201d, discover bottlings from every region of Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, for our festival bottlings, we have returned to our classic Single Casks. So that members worldwide can get a chance, no fewer than 41 casks have been bottled \u2013 14 bottlings have found their way to Switzerland. They are accompanied by the latest release in the Heresy series \u2013 Batch 39: The Five Regions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Creators Collection offers you a number of possibilities \u2013 you can compare bottlings from different regions, or bottlings from one and the same region. Discover their exciting diversity, what unites them and what sets them apart. And all this without having to leave the comfort of your home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside these great whiskys, I would like to share a book recommendation with you. In Opening the Case: The Affairs of Pattisons\u2019 Whisky, Justine Hazlehurst tells the story of the \u201cPattison Crash\u201d. Drawing on primary sources, she has untangled these dealings and uncovered a tale full of hubris \u2013 of family intrigues, the forgotten whisky history of Leith and questionable financial practices, with an unpaid tailor \u2026 and parrots thrown in for good measure. It is a story that holds lessons for today\u2019s whisky trade. The question remains, however, whether human beings are even capable of learning anything from history. The next few years will tell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
