“Whisky isn’t everyone’s favourite drink, but sharing it with friends is something special, especially the Society drams.” That’s not me saying that, but Jonathan Payne, one of the Society’s early members.

Our October outturn is packed with news. The biggest piece of news is probably the adjustment to our flavour profiles – from 12 to 8.

German folk song “Das Wandern ist des Müllers Lust…”. This poem, written by Wilhelm Müller in 1821 and set to music by the Austrian composer Franz Schubert in the song cycle “Die schöne Müllerin” in 1823, perfectly describes our “Whisky Wanderers Festivals 2025” theme.

Spring is in the air and the latest edition of the Creators Collection takes on this feeling too. This quartet of exquisite old whiskies captures the season when life awakens from its slumber, our senses are awakened by light and growth, and we appreciate the delicate beauty of these four outstanding whiskies.

Welcome to the year 2025 – we are delighted to present you with our latest Outturn. As you can see, it has been given a slight design lift. I hope you like it. Of course, it’s not about design, but above all about content. And this is also impressive! The second series of the Creators Collection, entitled “Homecoming”, brings together three whiskies from 20 to 32 years old. The labels are adorned with creations by artist Shona Hardie, who was inspired by the Society’s spiritual home, The Vaults in Leith.

In the Winter Wonders series, after the Halloween bottling, we present those for Christmas 115.33: Nostalgic notions and for New Year 39.307: A spicy soother.

Our current Outturn brings together a colourful bouquet of exclusive bottlings.
